Opened in 1998 and originally named Café Les Amis, this casual trattoria was rebranded in 2008 as Casa Verde. The name, which means ‘Green House’ in Italian, is particularly apt for the restaurant, given its relaxing atmosphere amidst the verdant garden landscape of the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
Apart from wholesome, affordable pastas, Italian sandwiches, and wood-fired thin crust pizzas, Casa Verde also offers a number of local favourites, appealing to Singaporeans and tourists alike.
Surrounded by the luxuriance of nature, Casa Verde provides a welcoming environment where children can play in the open and frolic in the sun. Casa Verde at Singapore Botanic Gardens is also one of the few eating establishments in Singapore to allow pets in the restaurant, with dog bowls available for furry patrons.
