A SMOKY AFFAIR AT BOTANIC GARDENS

Barbecue lovers, you’re in for a treat! This November, S’Mao Barbecue is bringing the heat and will be firing up a 2-month long pop-up at Casa Verde. Headed by Chef and Owner Chia Jue Mao — also known as Smoky Mao to his peers — S’Mao Barbecue specialises in finger-smacking authentic Texas style barbecue and smoking techniques.

Diners can look forward to indulging in S’Mao Signature Meat Platters – available in Medium ($125) and Large ($195) – featuring Duroc Pork Ribs, Honeyed Duroc Pork Belly and House-made Cajun-style Andouille Sausage. Each platter comes with six sides including Basil Mac ‘N’ Cheese and Cornbread with Butter, and comes with all four sauces.

NEW CONTEMPORARY ITALIAN DISHES AT LINO

Get your taste buds ready as LINO has launched an array of new dishes, ranging from appetising starters to substantial mains and even more delightful desserts!

Here is a snappy preview of some of their new starters that would surely set the tone for the rest of the meal – Salmon Gravlax ($22) with homemade beetroot cured salmon enhanced with peppery yuzu dressing and herbs, and the Endive Salad ($19) tossed with blue cheese, walnuts and pear slices.

For those who love a good hearty meal, the Braised Beef Cheek ($36) and Stewed Chicken ($28) will definitely deliver a delectable flavour with each bite you take. While the Escargot pizza ($29) – packed with a garlicky kick – is perfect for a sharing alternative. Don’t forget to end off your dining experience on a sweet note with new desserts like the Burnt Cheesecake ($12) and Pecan Tart ($12)!

New Pizza Flavour Coming Your Way

Introducing Peperoni Pizzeria’s latest addition, Peperonata ($19 for 9”, $24 for 12”, $55 for 21”), a vegetarian-friendly white based pizza. Topped full with bell peppers, onions, black olives and ricotta, expect each mouthful to be bursting with flavours! The sweetness from the bell peppers and onions goes so well with the tanginess from the black olives. The finishing touch of creamy ricotta also adds the right amount of cheesiness to the pizza, without being too cloying. The elements of this mouth-watering pizza meld so perfectly together, you will not be able to stop at just one slice!
