TWO NEW JAPANESE CONCEPTS COMING SOON – JINHONTEN AND KISSAJIN

Japanese cuisine lovers, stay tuned. Two new Japanese brands are coming to Shaw Centre: Jinhonten – a new sleek, classy, and modern Japanese seafood-focused omakase concept; and Kissajin – a Japanese kissaten (cafe) inspired concept.

At Jinhonten, prepare to embark on a fine culinary omakase journey, where diners will enjoy an intimate interaction with the chef and savour the freshest seasonal seafood. Boasting a solid selection of Japanese sake, expect an elevated flight paired with the taste of the sea. With no more than ten seats right in front of the preparation table, the omakase menu features sets of 8 to 9 courses and range from $268++ to $480++.

A Peranakan Affair with Mum

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, Indigo Blue Kitchen presents their Mother’s Day Set for Four ($188++), especially for the superwomen in our life.

Showcasing a tantalising range of Peranakan favourites, expect Mother’s Day exclusives such as Barramundi Chuan Chuan – featuring succulent barramundi stewed in piquant ginger and preserved bean paste sauce, and Satay ala Plancha comprising perfectly charred chicken chunks with a side of homemade peanut dips.

Ushering Spring in the French Way

Bonjour! With Spring here at our doorsteps, Bistro Du Vin has launched a new seasonal menu from 14th April onwards.

For starters, get ready to dig into buttery Foie gras poêlé ($38++), served with Granny Smith apples, dragée and poultry jus, or the Salade de topinambours ($22++), comprising Jerusalem artichokes, celery, pine nuts and walnut dressing.

For the main lead of the show, look forward to their hearty Navarin d’agneau ($40++), a popular spring lamb stew, accompanied with potatoes, tomatoes and green peas, as well as Filet de loup de mer ($48++), starring delicate pan-roasted seabass, served alongside artichokes barigoule, tomatoes, and olives.

A new menu is never complete without our favourite sweet ending. This season, Bistro Du Vin will be bringing classic and indulgent Baba au rhum ($20++) to your table. Featuring fluffy brioche soaked in citrus and rum syrup, before finishing it off with white chocolate whipped ganache, this dessert makes a boozy and delightful ending to any meal.
