Our Flame Burns On

Come 19th December, KOAL turns up the heat with a refreshed menu, bringing guests on a discovery of the grill, showcasing a fresh take on familiar Asian flavours.

New appearances include Seafood ‘Juk’ ($38++), KOAL’s take on a seafood porridge featuring koshihikari rice boiled in flavourful seafood broth topped with baby abalone, monkfish and shrimps served in a sizzling hot claypot. Grilled Eggplants ($12++), yaki nasu served with soy confit garlic, crispy tempura bits, and a drizzle of coriander yoghurt. Last but not the least, Apple Crumble ($16++), consisting of smoked gelato served on apple compote, crunchy oat crumble and finished with shoyu caramel sauce.

Those desiring a hint of familiarity can still enjoy the KOAL Dinner Rolls ($10++), fluffy dinner rolls packed with bacon bits and grilled spring onion served alongside sour cream and chive butter. Not forgetting a crowd favourite, Charred Broccoli ($9++), florets of broccoli and soy pickled onions, garnished with sesame dressing and bonito flakes.
